Workshops

PhD Day 2011 featured four sessions of one-hour workshops. Whereas in your daily work, you'll mostly be focused on science, on PhD Day you could learn about countless other invaluable skills. And if you'd like to learn more: most of the people teaching these workshops also offer full-blown courses you can follow.

How to get your free workshop tickets

Before you attend a workshop, you drop by the PhD Day stand in the Foyer (Main Building). Here, you obtain your free tickets for the workshops you'd like to attend.

  • Tickets for the two morning sessions are available between 8.45 and 9.30.
  • Tickets for the two afternoon sessions are available between 12.00 and 13.00.
  • One ticket per workshop session per person max.
  • Note: most workshops are limited to about 20–30 people.
  • Any left-over tickets for the second morning/afternoon session can be obtained between 10.15 – 10.30 / 13.45 – 14.00.

Plenary session

15.30 – 17.00, Auditorium, Main Building

Presented by Caroline Arps and Edith Krab, communication advisors at the VUmc.

Info market

Between 11.00 and 13.30, the following companies and organisations presented themselves on the info market in the Foyer:
